Situated in Goochland County, Virginia, established in 2004. The winery spans 72 acres, with 7.5 acres dedicated to grapevines, cultivating nine varieties of American, European, and hybrid grapes. They produce a diverse selection of 24 wines, ranging from dry to sweet, including unique offerings like a dessert wine with natural chocolate notes and an aperitif-style wine produced using the ancient orange method. The tasting room provides a relaxed atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, including a large party tent. Byrd Cellars emphasizes sustainability by using organic fertilizers and encouraging bottle recycling, offering customers 50 cents back for each returned bottle. In 2024, the winery was honored as the Goochland Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year.

Founded in 1980, Ingleside Vineyards is one of Virginia's oldest wineries. In addition to our own lines of award-winning wines, we currently produce several Norton wines for nearby Poorhouse Vineyard. These wines are made from grapes grown at Poorhouse Vineyard and carry the Poorhouse Vineyard label. They include a dry red Norton, as well as two Norton roses (dry and sweet). These wines are available for sale and occasional tastings in our Tasting Room while the Poorhouse Vineyards tasting room is under construction.
